Glass with metal wiring inside.?
I not sure what the glass is called, maybe safety glass or shatter proof glass? Recently broke a 1ft by 2ft glass like that at my apartment building and got charged $500. Seems pretty high for me but i don’t know anything about that glass. Any information would help.
It is most times called "wire glass". Normally used in fire doors or secure areas.
I don’t know how long it took to put in, ( labor cost ) or what labor rates are in your area, but you got screwed. The glass would cost no more than $23-$30.
